I can't believe he's active!

Every once in a while, you see a name in a box score, and you do a double-take. "Jorge Velandia is still playing? Didn't he suck in like, 1996? What? That guy?? I mean, really???" Well, I've noticed more than my fair share of these guys recently. Maybe they haven't played since 2004; maybe they've been toiling in obscurity for last-place, small-market teams. Or maybe they pulled a Crash Davis and were only there to groom some fireballing young hothead. Here, in no particular order, I present the top ten guys who have played in at least one game in 2009, who you would have bet were the bullpen catcher for the Lowell Spinners by now.
